The grindstone
Millrace’s occasional diary…
April 2008
A new season, a new venture. Colin Brash’s arresting illustrations in Ronald Turnbull’s mountain biographies have attracted so much interest that we’ve decided to offer a few as signed, limited edition prints. We are opening the batting with two Ben Macdui and two Great Gable scenes. The prints are attractively mounted and would make great presents. Take a look at our limited prints page for more information.
Colin is now at work on the drawings for Ronald Turnbull’s new book about his experiences on the John Muir Trail (see Yosemite Valley below).
Another new title this year, out this summer, is part one of Graham Wilson’s two-volume epic walk taking in the county tops of the north of England. This first half takes him, with the usual Wilson digressions, as far as Carlisle.
